Job Summary

Schmitt Engineering, a specialized technical partner in the industry, is seeking a Senior AutoCAD Application Specialist to serve as the primary technical point of contact for all AutoCAD-related matters. This role is central to the engineering design process, requiring continuous coordination with development teams to identify needs and integrate new features and functions into the existing engineering design tool architecture. Day-to-day tasks include implementing, testing, and documenting new modules, providing expert consultation to users, and configuring the AutoCAD environment. Candidates must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science, strong expertise in Autodesk products, experience developing CAD interfaces (e.g., Creo, NX), and familiarity with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps. Success requires experience working within agile development teams and fluent proficiency in both German (B2+) and English.
