Job Summary

Schmitt Engineering is seeking a dedicated Development Engineer to join their team, focusing on the planning, execution, and documentation of development and type tests for gas- and air-insulated medium voltage switchgear within their in-house testing laboratory. The role involves analyzing and evaluating test results, generating comprehensive test reports, and ensuring the safe operation, maintenance, and upkeep of testing and measuring equipment. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Technology, possesses deep knowledge of medium voltage switchgear, and is proficient in relevant standards, particularly the IEC 62271 series.
