Job Summary

This role involves working as an Application Engineer in the greater Duisburg area, focusing heavily on technical sales support and proposal generation for automation systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, reviewing, and processing tender documents, conducting technical and commercial clarification with customers, and developing comprehensive technical concepts that lead to final proposals. You will be responsible for creating cost calculations and proposal texts, collaborating with other sites, and obtaining quotes from suppliers, alongside providing after-sales support. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology and possesses deep knowledge of automation systems, including switchgear, drive technology, and control systems. Experience in technical sales, proposal creation, or electrical design is highly desirable, making this an excellent opportunity to leverage both engineering expertise and commercial acumen in a dynamic environment.
