Job Summary
This role involves actively shaping the energy future across more than 70 locations and 100 facilities by identifying and implementing energy saving potential within buildings and technical systems as part of the organization's environmental management system. The Energy Efficiency Officer will ensure the energy-efficient and legally compliant operation of heating, hot water, and ventilation systems, and continuously optimize these systems with a focus on control technology and consumption. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining systematic consumption analysis, performing economic evaluations of savings measures, and managing budgets. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Energy or Environmental Technology, Building Services, or a related field, and brings several years of professional experience in construction management or energy management. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Master's/Diploma) in Energy or Environmental Technology, Building Services Engineering, Supply Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in construction management
- Several years of professional experience in energy management
- Several years of professional experience in building and systems optimization
- Technical understanding of heating, PV, and combined heat and power (CHP) plants
