Job Summary

This role involves taking overall responsibility for corporate IT security standards, including their continuous development, implementation, and compliance across the organization. The IT Security Manager will proactively initiate, steer, and monitor both technical and organizational security measures to effectively mitigate risks and threats. Key day-to-day tasks include analyzing security vulnerabilities and access attempts, developing and maintaining robust firewall, access, and security policies, and ensuring regular system and compliance updates. A crucial part of the job is managing user and access permissions in close coordination with specialist departments. The position also requires planning and conducting security awareness training for employees, managing the security budget, and ensuring audit-ready documentation and KPI-based reporting. Candidates must have a completed degree or vocational training in IT or Information Security, several years of professional experience in IT security (ideally in regulated sectors like Pharma or Medical Technology), and fundamental knowledge of network security, firewalls, and relevant standards like ISO 27001 and NIS2.
