Job Summary
This role involves serving as the primary IT contact for approximately 1,200 user workstations (desktops, notebooks, virtual desktops) across multiple locations within the Bavarian State Office for Statistics. The successful candidate will be based in Fürth and will be responsible for local and remote IT workstation support, including the installation of physical clients via software distribution, asset management, and contributing to IT security efforts. A key part of the job involves active participation in relevant IT projects aimed at the further development of the authority's infrastructure. The position requires a completed IT vocational training, strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills to ensure high customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract until July 31, 2028, offering flexible working hours and home office possibilities.
