This role is for an experienced Accountant specializing in General Ledger functions, joining a growing Shared Service Center (SSC) in Frankfurt (Airport location). The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB standards, managing fixed asset accounting, and performing liquidity planning and plausibility checks for associated companies. Key duties also include processing payroll data, reconciling payroll accounts, and supporting general financial accounting activities like bank postings and payment releases. The ideal candidate has a commercial or tax-related background, multi-year experience in accounting, and a team-oriented, autonomous work style. Required Skills

Education

Completed commercial or tax-related vocational training (e.g., Office Clerk or Tax Specialist). Further training as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) is desirable.

Experience

  • Multi-year experience in accounting (e.g., as a Financial Accountant)
  • Initial experience in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
  • Basic knowledge in fixed asset accounting, liquidity planning, and plausibility checks

Additional

  • Willingness to work full-time in Frankfurt/Main (Airport location). Knowledge of DATEV Kanzlei Rechnungswesen is advantageous but not mandatory.
