Job Summary
This crucial role involves supporting and ultimately succeeding the Head of Central Administration and Finance for a non-profit educational institution with extensive national and international operations. The Deputy Head will take on significant responsibility across administrative and commercial domains, including financial and accounting management, controlling, personnel administration, and grant management. A core focus will be on merging strategic planning with detailed financial oversight, contributing to annual financial statements, tax declarations, and business analyses. The position requires active participation in and shaping of digitalization projects, ensuring the organization remains structurally sound and reliable. Ideal candidates possess a strong business administration background, profound knowledge of HGB accounting, and practical experience with DATEV and MS Office, coupled with analytical skills and a drive to lead organizational development.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Business Administration or comparable commercial qualification (e.g., Certified Accountant, Tax Specialist)
Experience
- Several years of experience in accounting, controlling, or administrative management
- Experience in the education or non-profit sector is ideal
- Experience in preparing annual financial statements and tax returns
- Experience in overseeing and managing payment transactions
