Job Summary

This role involves operating and optimizing critical central applications and services for the Austrian Public Employment Service (AMS), ensuring high availability and stability for thousands of daily users. The IT System Specialist will be responsible for managing the eAkte system, handling Second Level Support, and executing Incident and Problem Management, including detailed code and log-file analyses. Key duties include system provisioning, deployment execution via Change Management, and proactive capacity planning and system monitoring. Candidates must have a technical background (HTL, FH, or University degree) with at least four years of relevant professional experience in service management and strong knowledge of IT processes and project management (ITIL). This full-time, permanent position is based in Vienna and offers significant remote work flexibility (60% Home Office).
