Job Summary

This Postdoctoral Fellow position is dedicated to active scientific research within the IFuEL UAP 4.1 project, requiring a PhD in physics, plasma physics, chemistry, mineralogy, or an equivalent field. The role involves contributing to active scientific research projects, potentially related to laser shock compression and PFM, and collaborating effectively within a large, diverse group of scientists. Day-to-day tasks may include the operation of high-energy laser experiments and the assembly and commissioning of vacuum-capable target chambers. Candidates should possess excellent research and communication skills, particularly in English. A strong understanding of powder and single crystal X-ray diffraction and crystal structure analysis is highly beneficial, as is experience in laser physics.
