This is an exciting, full-time, permanent position for a Civil or Environmental Engineer focused on water management and development within the Bavarian water sector. The successful candidate will primarily review and evaluate hydraulic engineering projects and third-party initiatives, ensuring the region's water resources are protected for both human and natural needs. Key responsibilities include advising municipalities and project sponsors on surface water issues, such as flood protection and river restoration, assessing construction plans for waterways during approval processes, and managing state funding programs. This role requires solid technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and systematically, contributing to critical infrastructure projects like flood warning services and proprietary planning and construction ventures.
