This role involves the functional verification of critical Aerospace products, specifically focusing on Programmable Logic Devices (PLD) and Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). The successful candidate will be responsible for defining test requirements for PLD/FPGA and associated test equipment, executing comprehensive tests, and analyzing verification data and results. Key daily tasks include creating detailed test and verification documentation, developing sophisticated test applications, and conducting qualifications for verification tools, including their ongoing development. The position requires a background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics, coupled with experience in PLD/FPGA development or verification, and familiarity with modern verification methodologies, VHDL, and TCL.
