Job Summary
This position calls for a skilled Electronics Technician to join a leading manufacturer of cable entry systems and level measurement technology. Day-to-day responsibilities focus heavily on the precise assembly, wiring, and mechanical-electrical setup of complex components, including float switches and measuring/control devices. A critical part of the role involves rigorous quality assurance, requiring the execution of electrical measurements (resistance, voltage, insulation) and high-voltage testing according to internal specifications and VDE guidelines. The technician will meticulously document all test results, approve assemblies and final products, troubleshoot faults, perform necessary repairs, and assist in process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate must possess completed vocational training in electronics or a related field, demonstrate exceptional quality consciousness, reliability, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a team-oriented, 35-hour work week environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Industrial Engineering Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or equivalent Electrical Engineer/Technician qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in the assembly and testing of electrical components and devices
- Experience working according to VDE guidelines and relevant industry norms
- Experience in fault finding and supporting process optimization
- Experience implementing specific testing scopes for major customers (e.g., Mahle, Siemens)
