Job Summary

This role is for an experienced EDI Specialist focused on developing, implementing, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions, particularly within the automotive and trade sectors, using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV). Day-to-day responsibilities involve developing supplier- and customer-specific EDI projects, creating and maintaining custom mappings and communication links, and providing 2nd/3rd-level support for error analysis. The specialist will also be responsible for project planning, feasibility analysis, and optimizing existing EDI installations for clients. Key requirements include professional experience in EDI communication, knowledge of standard formats like VDA, ODETTE, and EDIFACT, and familiarity with web technologies (ASP/ASP.NET, XML, HTML) or database programming.
