Job Summary

This critical role involves leading the Civil Maintenance subdivision within Heilbronn's Operations Office, focusing on the upkeep and traffic safety of all civil engineering structures, particularly roads. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical supervision and instruction of maintenance teams, overseeing construction management, and handling the tendering and awarding of external contracts. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating internal and external services, monitoring performance against cost and performance accounting (KLR), and representing the department publicly. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's or Technician qualification in civil engineering (e.g., Road Building Master) and demonstrated leadership experience, ensuring smooth and compliant operation of essential urban infrastructure.
