Job Summary
This role is ideal for a service-oriented IT professional who thrives in a dynamic support environment. As an IT Service Technician, you will be the reliable point of contact for customers and the internal team, handling technical inquiries and issues. Your core responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and operation of diverse operating systems, including Windows 10 & 11, Linux, macOS, and iOS. You will manage the entire hardware lifecycle, from provisioning and initial setup to comprehensive troubleshooting, ensuring systems run smoothly and users quickly regain operational status. Success in this role requires a structured approach, meticulous documentation of work steps, and proven experience in 1st and 2nd-level support, ideally utilizing ticket systems like SC3. This position offers continuous professional development through the Bechtle Academy and the security of an unlimited contract within one of Europe's leading IT service providers.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training, e.g., IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or comparable professional field
Experience
- Professional experience using ticket systems (e.g., SC3)
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments
- Experience in 1st- and 2nd-Level Support at a service point
- Desirable knowledge in macOS, iOS, and Linux
