Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager in Jena, specializing in the procurement of software development and related services. Day-to-day responsibilities include the sourcing of specific software solutions, development services, licenses, and cloud services, coupled with critical price and contract negotiations with national and international partners. The manager will analyze the global procurement market, identify and evaluate suitable suppliers, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Development, Legal, IT Security) to ensure quality, compliance, and IP protection. Key qualifications include a degree in Business or IT, professional experience in Supply Chain Management (ideally software procurement), strong negotiation skills, and familiarity with SAP and basic programming concepts.
