Job Summary

This role is a unique opportunity for a Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) to join the Cannabis Analytics team in Münster on a part-time, one-year fixed-term contract (approx. 20 hours/week). The successful candidate will be responsible for testing pharmaceutical raw materials, active ingredients, and finished medicinal products, particularly controlled substances (BtM/MedCan), according to national and international pharmacopoeia standards (Ph. Eur., USP, DAB, DAC). Day-to-day tasks include applying wet-chemical methods (e.g., titrations, detection reactions) and instrumental analysis (e.g., spectroscopy, chromatography). A key focus is GMP-compliant documentation, data entry into the LIMS, and working strictly according to controlled substances regulations (BtMG/MedCanG). The position requires strong organizational skills, practical experience in a GMP-regulated environment, and the ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.

Education

Degree as Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant (PTA), or Laboratory Technician

Experience

  • Professional experience in chemical and physical testing of medicinal products, active ingredients, and raw materials in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Practical experience in HPLC/GC analytics (desirable)
  • Initial experience handling controlled substances / medicinal cannabis (advantageous)
