Job Summary

This role is for a Development Engineer to join an innovative medical technology supplier specializing in components made from NiTi shape memory alloys, manufactured using a unique process. The engineer will take full responsibility for exciting development projects, spanning from concept and design, through developing manufacturing processes, qualification, and ultimately transferring the product into series production. Key focus areas include microsystems technology, material sciences (especially shape memory alloys, bioelectrodes, and biocompatible polymers), microelectronics, and manufacturing technology within the regulated medical technology sector. Candidates should possess a technical degree in a relevant field and demonstrate a strong hands-on mentality, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in both German and English to thrive in this international environment.
