Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position at BBS II Northeim, a regional vocational training center, seeks a skilled Vocational Instructor specializing in Electrical Engineering Practice, starting March 1, 2026. The role involves teaching and guiding approximately 1500 students in both full-time and part-time vocational programs, working closely with industry partners. The ideal candidate must hold a Master Electrician certification or be a State-Certified Electrical Engineering Technician and possess significant practical experience in the field, coupled with experience working with young people and/or disadvantaged youth. This role offers a broad scope of deployment, allowing for individual specialization and professional fulfillment, with the possibility of being appointed as a civil servant (Beamtenverhältnis) or a salaried employee under the TV-L collective agreement.
Required Skills
Education
Required: Secondary school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) or equivalent, completed vocational training, and a Master Electrician certification (Elektrotechnikmeister) or State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Several years of practical experience as a Master Electrician or Technician
- Experience in dealing with young people and/or disadvantaged youth
- Experience in the training sector or as an instructor
- Minimum two years of full-time professional activity following the Master Electrician or Technician certification
