Job Summary
This leadership role involves the comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of vegetation management and right-of-way clearance projects for major clients within the energy sector. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team, serving as the central point of contact for project stakeholders, including authorities, service providers, and customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring projects along power lines and facilities are executed safely, efficiently, and sustainably, adhering strictly to quality and safety standards, including nature and landscape protection guidelines. The Head of Vegetation Management will also be responsible for recognizing industry changes, developing project workflows, preparing decision-making documents, calculating realistic offers for tenders, and maintaining sound commercial oversight (billing and cost control). This position requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge related to electrical systems (ideally overhead lines), and proficiency in digital tools, offering a chance to shape critical infrastructure maintenance within a major European facility service company.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a craft-based profession. Electrotechnical expertise in the public energy supply overhead line network is desirable.
Experience
