Job Summary

This role seeks an Electrical Engineer or Technical Expert specializing in Rail Control and Safety Systems (LST) to join the development team in Mönchengladbach. The core focus involves acting as a subject matter expert within development teams, translating requirements into specifications, and actively contributing to product safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include participating in reviews and verifications, creating essential documentation, and ensuring compliance with critical European standards (EN 50126 / 50716 / 50129). The ideal candidate has a strong background in railway technology, a passion for safety-critical software development, and excellent knowledge of German railway regulations (DB AG). Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Rail Control and Safety Systems, Railway Technology, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification

Experience

Several years of professional experience in specification, planning, and/or operation of Rail Control and Safety Systems
Very good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations for LST systems in the DB AG area
Interest in the technical realization of modern LST systems
Experience working in development teams

Languages

German (Fluent)English (Basic)
