Job Summary
This full-time, permanent Applications Engineer role involves providing technical support for the company's entire product range, primarily through internal and external field service across Germany and internationally. Key responsibilities include offering technical consultation to customers regarding product applications, performance, and optimization. The engineer will be crucial in troubleshooting product issues, analyzing faults, and developing comprehensive solutions for customer complaints, ensuring thorough documentation. Furthermore, the role requires collaborating closely with customers, the development laboratory, and relevant departments to design and implement specialized technical solutions, contributing to product and formulation adjustments. Candidates should possess a technical or engineering background (e.g., Mechanical or Process Engineering) and demonstrate fluency in both German and English, coupled with strong communication and customer-orientation skills.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Technician or degree as an Engineer (e.g., Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering), Chemical Technician, or Chemical Engineer
Experience
- Initial professional experience in mechanical engineering, fluid management, or cooling lubricant monitoring/maintenance
- Experience in the mineral oil or related additive industry (desired, but not mandatory)
