Job Summary
The Agricultural Center for Cattle Husbandry, Grassland Management, Dairy Farming, Game, and Fisheries (LAZBW) in Baden-Württemberg is seeking a Dairy Laboratory Technician to join their Chemical Dairy Department in Wangen im Allgäu. This role involves essential chemical and chemical-physical laboratory analyses of milk and dairy products, including meticulous sample preparation. Key daily tasks include calibrating, maintaining, and caring for laboratory equipment, and actively participating in quality assurance processes within the DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 accredited lab. The technician will also be heavily involved in order processing using the Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS), covering sample registration and the entry and release of intermediate and final results. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Dairy Laboratory Technician or equivalent, practical experience in dairy analytics, and fluent German language skills (C1 level minimum). This position offers a varied and responsible role within a modern, competent, and collaborative public service environment.
