Job Summary

This role involves leading the technical direction of a team focused on Network Infrastructure and Security at Stuttgart Airport, which is committed to achieving zero emissions by 2040. The Lead Specialist acts as the primary technical contact for external service providers and internal inquiries, bridging the gap between the team and the Group Leader. Day-to-day responsibilities include HR tasks such as personnel planning, task distribution, vacation scheduling, and employee development. Technically, the role requires hands-on configuration of Firewall and VPN environments, network administration, setup, and comprehensive documentation. Furthermore, the specialist manages the telephony infrastructure, including Voice-over-IP systems. A crucial aspect of this position is participating in on-call duty to ensure continuous operation of the airport's critical systems, making this a high-impact role in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.
