Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the operational readiness of production infrastructure for a globally recognized leader in railway vehicle manufacturing, specializing in bespoke products. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the optimization, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of complex machinery and plant systems. Key daily tasks include performing diagnostics on electrical circuits, troubleshooting faults, and selecting/installing electrical components in compliance with DIN VDE standards. A crucial part of the job involves configuring and programming control systems using platforms like Siemens Step7, FANUC, and Logo!Soft. Candidates must possess a completed qualification in Electrical Engineering/Electronics, significant industrial experience, and expert knowledge of PLC control systems, specifically Siemens Simatic S7/TIA Portal. The position requires adaptability to a 3-shift system.
