Job Summary
This role involves working as an IT Service Desk Specialist for the city administration of Landau, focusing on ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems for both city employees and local schools. Day-to-day tasks include receiving, analyzing, classifying, and processing incoming fault reports and user inquiries via ticketing systems, phone, and email. The specialist will be responsible for the remote and on-site maintenance of IT systems, administering specialized applications, and installing and configuring client systems (including software distribution). Key requirements include a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent, practical experience with Windows 11 and MS Office 2021 products, and strong problem-solving skills. Experience with professional trouble-ticket systems and basic knowledge of network infrastructure are also required. Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker/in FR Systemintegration) or IT System Electronics Technician (IT-Systemelektroniker/in), or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT Service environments (mid-sized/larger companies or public administration) (advantageous)
- Secure handling of a professional Trouble-Ticket-System (advantageous)
- Practical experience with Windows 11 operating systems
- Practical experience with MS Office products (Office 2021 and newer)
