Job Summary

This role involves working within a dynamic and dedicated team in Penzberg focused on generating clinical evidence for new biomarkers and developing high-quality immunoassays for Research and Early Development (RED). The Engineer will be responsible for the planning, calculation, and execution of development tasks and experiments to establish diagnostic tests up to market readiness. Key day-to-day duties include producing developed assays on a lab scale, conducting measurements for clinical studies, and independently evaluating experimental data using statistical methods and software tools. Candidates must hold a degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a comparable field, possess several years of relevant professional experience, and demonstrate proficiency in analytical procedures, test development, and operating various analytical devices. Success in this position requires high autonomy, meticulousness, and the willingness to take responsibility for complex projects, supported by good written and spoken English and basic German skills.

Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience (alternatively gained during Master's or Doctoral studies)
  • Experience with analytical procedures and test development in biochemical, biological, or medical fields
  • Profound knowledge of analytical-biochemical work
  • Experience with standard IT systems and software tools for data evaluation
