Job Summary

This Lead Golang Developer role, situated within the DevSecOps Engineering department of the Competence Center IT-Security (CCITS), focuses on implementing and operating IT-security-critical software projects for the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and developing complex microservices for a critical IT security infrastructure, with a primary focus on Go/Golang development. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Product Owner on requirements analysis, leading software design, and contributing to the development and maintenance of the CI/CD pipeline. The position requires strong technical expertise in Golang, authentication procedures (like OIDC and mTLS), and IT security concepts (such as Mitre Att&ck). Candidates must possess excellent communication and decision-making skills, an agile mindset, and a commitment to meticulous technical documentation, all while working within an agile team environment dedicated to enhancing Germany's security capabilities.
