Job Summary
This role requires a highly experienced professional to take technical and organizational leadership of the electrical design department, focusing on continuous improvement and standardization. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the complete electrical planning and construction of complex machinery and automation systems, including the dimensioning of power and control systems utilizing Siemens PLCs. A core function involves creating detailed schematics, parts lists, and manufacturing documentation using EPLAN P8. Furthermore, the role acts as a key technical partner for mechanical design and electrical assembly teams, ensuring systems meet safety, innovation, and economic standards up to commissioning. Candidates must possess at least eight years of specialized experience in electrical design, comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety technology, and expertise in relevant industry norms and regulations.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training in Electrical Engineering combined with further training as an Electrical Engineering Technician, Industrial Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering)
Experience
- At least 8 years in electrical design and construction
- Professional experience in creating electrical schematics and control cabinet layouts, ideally using EPLAN P8
- Expertise in applying relevant norms, guidelines, and regulations
