Job Summary
This role is based in Adendorf, Germany, within a leading confectionery manufacturer specializing in marzipan and nougat production. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for executing daily quality and process controls across the production line. Key duties include performing sampling, conducting incoming goods and finished product inspections, and carrying out physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses. The specialist must meticulously evaluate and document all results, manage testing equipment, and strictly monitor adherence to hygiene and Quality Assurance (QA) guidelines. Candidates should ideally hold a qualification as a Food Technician, Laboratory Technician (BTA/CTA), or Confectionery Specialist. Success in this position requires exceptional quality and hygiene awareness, strong reliability, assertiveness, and the flexibility to work within a defined shift system (early and late shifts).
Required Skills
Education
Completed training/qualification as a Food Technician, Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Laboratory Technician, or Specialist in the Confectionery Sector (desirable)
Experience
- Professional experience in quality assurance or laboratory work
- Experience with conducting quality and process controls in a production environment
- Experience in monitoring and ensuring compliance with hygiene and QS specifications
