Job Summary
This role involves providing critical 2nd-Level support for a mission-critical mobile network platform, specifically focusing on the Core and Backbone network elements within Germany's energy and water sectors. The specialist will be responsible for analyzing and resolving Level-2 faults, supporting the Network Operations Center (NOC) with Level-1 fault resolution, and assisting with software updates for network components. A key aspect of the job is participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure system resilience and high availability. The ideal candidate must have a background in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or related fields, possess experience operating mobile or backbone networks, and demonstrate hands-on expertise with virtualized server architectures.
