Job Summary

This role involves managing the GO-Bio initial funding project, supporting the identification and development of early-stage research ideas with commercial potential within the Life Sciences. The Project Manager will be responsible for promoting the funding program across Max Planck Institutes, scouting suitable projects and teams, and providing comprehensive support and consultation throughout the application and funding phases. Key duties include offering intensive individual project advice, conducting webinars and webcasts on technology transfer, and managing project administration and budget responsibilities. The ideal candidate must hold a PhD in Biology or a related Life Sciences field, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and demonstrate a proactive, results-oriented work style. This position is vital for transferring fundamental research findings into economically and socially beneficial projects.
