Job Summary

This role is ideal for a dedicated IT System Administrator who thrives in complex, solution-oriented environments and is eager to both maintain and evolve IT systems. Based in Amberg, the specialist will be responsible for the reliable operation and future-proofing of the company's IT landscape, which is part of an experienced group focusing on assembly technology and industrial automation. Key responsibilities include the operation and optimization of the virtualized server landscape, administration of network and firewall infrastructure, and the continuous development of the Microsoft 365 environment (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Intune, Entra ID). The successful candidate will also drive process automation using tools like Power Automate and PowerShell, manage 1st and 2nd-level support, and actively participate in new IT projects. This position requires strong technical expertise in Windows, AD/Entra ID, and VMWare, coupled with a proactive, structured, and team-oriented approach.
