Metrology Technician (Energy Technology) | Messtechniker/in (Energietechnik)

Job Summary

This role focuses on the independent planning, programming, and execution of complex measurement tasks utilizing Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and 3D scanners within the energy technology sector. The technician is responsible for the thorough evaluation and clarification of measurement results, including detailed statistical analysis, and performing initial product sampling (Erstbemusterung). A significant part of the job involves the maintenance and servicing of metrological equipment, requiring strong technical expertise. The ideal candidate must possess vocational training in the metal sector or coordinate metrology (AUKOM) and demonstrate very good knowledge in creating measurement programs, preferably using PC-DMIS. This position requires an analytical mindset, excellent PC skills, and the ability to work independently while serving as a key technical contact for internal specialist departments.
