Job Summary

This leadership role involves spearheading the Data Engineering & Platform group, aligning its development with strategic departmental objectives. The successful candidate will provide operational and disciplinary leadership to Data Engineers and Platform Specialists, focusing on expanding and optimizing technologies, engineering competencies, and platform architectures. Day-to-day activities include ensuring quality, operational safety, and compliance with regulations like the AI Act and data protection laws through robust processes. The role requires resource and capacity planning, close collaboration with portfolio management, and active participation in strategic initiatives within a matrix organization, working closely with Product Owners and Scrum Teams. Key requirements include a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, substantial leadership experience in technical data teams, and deep technical knowledge of modern data architectures and infrastructure automation.
