Job Summary

The Deutsche Bahn is seeking a proactive (Junior) Electrical Engineer to step into a District Manager role, overseeing critical 50Hz power systems and machine technology infrastructure in the Weiden/Regensburg area. This dual-function role involves ensuring the safe, punctual, and economical operation of rail infrastructure assets. Day-to-day tasks include managing a regional district, taking technical and disciplinary leadership of staff, controlling budgets, and acting as a specialist planner for electrical maintenance, ensuring quality and timely execution of work. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or possesses a Master/Technician qualification with significant professional experience, ideally including operational maintenance and initial leadership experience. This position is designed for a motivated individual ready to take on leadership responsibility, supported by a structured qualification program and mentorship to transition into a critical infrastructure management role.
