This role involves steering and advising strategically significant IT major projects and programs for one of Germany's largest state IT companies, playing a crucial part in the digital transformation of public administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex projects, including process and requirements management, business analysis, target definition, and accurate effort estimation. A core focus is ensuring project goals regarding quality, time, and budget are met within intricate stakeholder environments, requiring strong communication and steering competence. Key requirements include a university degree in an IT-related field, several years of experience leading IT projects/programs, and a solid technical understanding of IT architectures and distributed systems. This position offers the opportunity to shape long-term, visible solutions for central IT systems across multiple federal states, ensuring digital sovereignty and high societal relevance.
