Job Summary

This role involves designing, optimizing, and implementing robust electrical and power systems for industrial clients, focusing on stability, efficiency, and sustainability. The engineer will be responsible for utilizing E-CAD programs, ideally Eplan, to execute complex tasks such as short-circuit calculations, dimensioning overcurrent and short-circuit protection devices, and planning comprehensive cable infrastructure. Key daily activities include developing grounding and lightning protection concepts, selecting and designing low, medium (6-30 kV), and high-power distribution systems, and specifying transformers and protective technology for medium-voltage installations. This position requires meticulous adherence to safety standards, collaboration across technical departments, and active participation in cost and schedule planning, contributing to the development of secure and future-proof industrial processes.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree in Power Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in the described task area
  • Experience in designing transformers and switchgear in the 6 to 30 kV range
  • Experience with EPLAN for planning and constructing power distribution systems (desired)
  • Experience in cost and schedule planning (desired)
