Job Summary
Join a successful company specializing in energy distribution and low-voltage switchgear as a PLC Programmer Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the parametrization, optimization, and troubleshooting of PLC controls (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal) on-site at customer locations. Your day-to-day tasks will involve diagnosing and repairing automated electrical systems, documenting program adjustments and service interventions, and providing technical support and training to clients both in person and over the phone. This position requires a strong technical background in electrical or automation engineering, a customer-oriented mindset, and a willingness to travel extensively within Germany. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming
- Experience in fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of automated electrotechnical systems and control systems
- Experience in industrial and building technology or hospital technology is possible
- Experience with switchgear construction and electrical installation is desirable
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driving license; Willingness to travel nationwide within Germany; Starting point for service assignments is always the main location in Grimma.
