Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the execution and project management of studies analyzing electrical energy systems, grid planning, and network development, specifically for Siemens Energy. The Project Planning Engineer will be crucial in planning and analyzing electrical energy systems, developing grid structures, and simulating electrical systems, including the modeling of power electronic grid elements. A core function is the integration of power electronic devices, renewable generation, and storage into AC grids through concept, feasibility, and tender studies. The position requires coordinating engineers across various technical and virtual teams in a multicultural environment, actively participating in pre-acquisition and sales activities, and managing external partners and subcontractors. Candidates must possess a degree in electrical power engineering or equivalent, relevant professional experience, and solid knowledge of network simulation programs like PSS/E or PowerFactory, alongside fluent communication skills in both German and English.
