Job Summary
This role is ideal for an ambitious (Junior) Optical Engineering Specialist passionate about innovation, ready to tackle future technological challenges within diverse sectors like medical, defense, and general optics. The core responsibilities involve conducting physical and metrological experiments, focusing heavily on optical design and system development. Day-to-day tasks include the calculation, simulation, and design of complex optical systems, alongside adapting and developing new measurement methods. Candidates should possess a degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, coupled with initial knowledge in metrology, optics, and laser technology. Experience with optical design software like ZEMAX or OSLO is highly desirable.
