Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Validation Engineer to ensure the grid stability and power quality of wind power plants. Key responsibilities include planning and executing Fault Ride Through (FRT) tests and grid stability tests on wind turbines, setting up and configuring medium voltage test systems, and performing detailed power quality measurements. The engineer will analyze, evaluate, and document test results, implement necessary software updates, and adjust system parameters on the wind energy facilities. Success requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, mandatory knowledge of FRT testing and relevant international standards (e.g., IEC 61400-21-1, FGW TR3), and fluency in both German and English. Furthermore, the position requires the ability to work at heights and a willingness to travel regularly for business.
