Job Summary
This is a technically demanding position as an NDT Technician focusing on materials testing for safety-relevant high-tech components within the defense industry in Unterlüß. Day-to-day responsibilities include the coordination, execution, and detailed evaluation of radiographic (X-ray) examinations. You will be responsible for planning and setting up complex testing configurations, ensuring timely execution, and generating comprehensive test reports based on data and digital image analysis. A key component of the role is the maintenance and preventive servicing of the X-ray systems to ensure maximum availability, alongside safely handling explosive or hazardous components. Candidates must possess a completed background as an Energy Electrician or equivalent, hold valid RT-F and RT-D Level 2 certifications (EN ISO 9712), and demonstrate expertise in radiation protection and NDT standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed training as an Energy Electrician or equivalent; Valid RT-F and RT-D Level 2 certificates according to EN ISO 9712
Experience
- Professional experience with software for controlling X-ray systems and digital image processing
- Knowledge and practical application of testing and measurement methods, and NDT standards (ZfP)
- Experience in the maintenance and preventive servicing of radiographic equipment
- Experience handling explosive materials and hazardous components under strict safety standards
