Job Summary

This role involves the independent management of ongoing financial accounting processes for Kassel Marketing GmbH, a key player in promoting the culture and experiences of Kassel, Germany. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of financial transactions, including posting and reconciling general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, managing open items, and executing the dunning process and payment transactions. A core responsibility is the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with handling VAT pre-registrations and other tax reports. The ideal candidate possesses a commercial qualification, extensive experience in financial accounting, and strong knowledge of German commercial and tax law (HGB and VAT law). This position offers a varied and responsible role within a supportive team environment, contributing directly to the success of a dynamic city marketing organization.
