Job Summary

This role is a permanent position within the Quality Control (QC) department of a major international pharmaceutical company. The Chemical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the batch-related testing of drug preparations, active substances, and raw materials, strictly adhering to pharmacopoeia methods and internal procedures. Key daily activities include operating advanced computer-aided analytical instruments such as HPLC and GC, performing wet chemical analysis, and ensuring meticulous GMP-compliant documentation of all tests and results, often utilizing electronic laboratory information systems (LIMS). Candidates must hold a completed laboratory technician qualification in chemistry or biology and possess practical experience in instrumental analysis (including UV/VIS, IR, and TOC) within a regulated QC environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed laboratory technician or technician training in Chemistry, Biology, or a comparable natural science/technical qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in Quality Control (QC)
  • Practical experience in instrumental analysis techniques (e.g., GC, HPLC, UV/VIS, IR, TOC)
  • Experience applying GMP regulations in a laboratory setting (advantageous)
  • Experience with wet chemical analysis and analysis techniques in the device environment
  • Practical experience in independent execution of laboratory activities
