Job Summary

This role involves acting as a specialist administrator, ensuring the provision of agricultural subsidies in Brandenburg by managing and analyzing necessary geospatial data. Day-to-day tasks include GIS data management, quality assurance of funding areas (Förderkulissen), and preparing GIS data for subsequent processes in the agricultural subsidy procedure (ELER area measures). The administrator will integrate these funding areas into the Digital Field Block Cadaster and configure interfaces with other technological modules within the agricultural subsidy IT network. Key qualifications include a degree in Geoinformatics or Informatics, proven experience in GIS data analysis or working with geodatabases, and good written and spoken German skills (B2 level). This position offers the opportunity to work with modern GIS technologies, SQL database queries, and Web Feature Services (WFS) within a supportive team environment in Frankfurt (Oder).

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or Bachelor) in Geoinformatics, Informatics, or comparable field, or equivalent professional qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience and expertise in Vektor/Raster image processing, geodatabases, or GIS scripting
  • Proven experience (certificates, project descriptions, or professional activity records) in GIS data analysis or working with geodatabases
