Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity for an IT Engineer or Computer Scientist to apply their technical skills within the cutting-edge field of Translational Psychiatry at the UKM University Hospital Münster. The core responsibilities involve the development, customization, and adaptation of specialized software solutions to support clinical research and interdisciplinary teams focused on psychiatric illnesses. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining and supporting critical databases, collaborating closely with researchers, and ensuring software quality through rigorous testing and quality assurance procedures. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, possesses professional experience in software development, and has strong foundational knowledge of programming and database systems. This role is offered as a part-time position (19.25 hours per week) and is initially limited to a one-year fixed-term contract, providing an engaging blend of technology and medical research.
