This role involves the crucial technical support and maintenance of advanced laser diagnostics systems used for density and temperature measurement in plasma research, specifically focusing on the laser beam position control system (Lageregelung) at the W7-X facility. The technician will be responsible for finalizing the system setup, commissioning, ongoing technical supervision, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of the laser beam control. Key responsibilities include conducting technical modifications in collaboration with engineers, performing lab tests and measurements, and ensuring flawless operational functionality during experimental phases.
