Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the quality and conformity of components for AIRBUS Aerostructures GmbH in Bremen, focusing on single-part manufacturing. The Component Inspector will be responsible for preparing and executing visual, incoming, and first sample inspections, including conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) at suppliers to guarantee supplier quality. A core part of the job involves verifying components against engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications while adhering to customer and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include meticulous documentation of all tests in manufacturing orders and relevant IT systems (like SAP and IRS), compiling necessary aircraft-relevant documents, and managing component complaints and quality notifications. This position requires a background in aviation or metal processing, significant experience in quality management, proficiency in SAP and Google Workspace, and a willingness to work in a 2-shift system, ensuring high standards of quality assurance within the aerospace sector.
